What does a Vegan take to a BBQ???
The cookies turned out as expected. Delish. I took one batch out of the dehydrator after only 1 hour due to popular demand but as this was my first attempt at cookies I wanted to see them crisp up a little more as both my taste testers were divided on what would taste nicer. After another hour I thought they were just right. So did you have any idea what was in them? I used 3 cups of almond and hazelnut meal from the leftover Chocolate Banana Nutshakes 1 cup of flax meal, 1/2 cup of cacao nibs, 1/2 cup of sultanas, 1/2 cup of goji berries and a handful of those dates and processed more »

Last night we went off to Bahrain for a free Cuban Flamenco Fusion show as part of the Bahrain Summer Program. A group of us got together to reminisce our Cuban Salsa holiday in February. The only thing missing was a place for us to dance. As the show was free, we were lucky to get a seat on the aisle steps after some convincing to the security guards. We were lucky as some people did get turned away. I think we felt our Cuban stamp in our passport should have been authentic enough to enable us entrance tee hee. Here is the band in action. So did any of you guess where in Europe I was the other day? Day 3 on this trip wasn’t too difficult. I woke up and made myself a hotel room smoothie special of:Spinach, banana, blueberries and water (no that water fountain in the background is not popping out of my smoothie!) That kept me going til I arrived at my next European destination in time for dinner. This is where things got tricky.
