Raw on the Road

Hey hey. Yesterday was a fully packed day of sightseeing and taking in the fresh non desert air for a change with soooo much greenery around. I awoke and made my self an in hotel room smoothie special:

Banana’s, blueberries, spinach (you cannot really see it in back) and water.

All mixed up in my Tribest Travel Blender (classy photo on the floor however it was the only powerpoint I could find not being used)

Whilst I let that digest I did some work on my computer and started to get peckish again, so dug into my goodie bag of fruit I brought with me and snacked on 2 of these devils:

I then packed my bag up with these ready for an afternoon of sightseeing with the crew:

Banana, 2 Mandarin’s, Pear and a lunchbox of soaked almonds and goji berries.

More on what we saw at a later date but here is a teaser:

Came home around 5pm so washed up and went out for a dinner of grilled vegetables at a local pizzeria. It was still light at 8.30pm so I convinced one of the guys to come out for a run with me along the water whilst families on summer vacation watched us with puzzled looks whilst enjoying their gelato. I am not really a big runner but as I have been doing evening walks/jogs with Lucy the dog back home, I thought I should keep it up. I soooo surprised myself. I had only intended to walk the approx 4kms, but I ended up jogging the whole way (and taking off from the pilot I convinced to come along with me). High five!

Here is where we ran! Isn’t it just beautiful? I think I could have done another lap as I was hardly out of breath and hardly broke a sweat. The weather is just perfect for an evening jog.

Finally here is a rubbish bin I saw on the street today. Germaphobe Becci would LOVE this! You don’t need to touch the bin to place your rubbish inside, you just push on the pedal. Brilliant!

Have a great day wherever in the world you are! :D
