The best hotel room smoothie yet!
Happy World Vegetarian Day peeps! Today’s smoothie was a cracker! I think the difference in this one compared to those before it was I had put an ingredient in it I usually only reserve for almond milk creations and boy what a difference. As I am not usually a sweet tooth (my problem foods are usually salty, crunchy and carby!) I really didn’t think it would make that much of a difference. So wanna know the secret ingredient? DATES. Wow, I leave it a day, and I have sooo much to catch you up on! As it has all has been happening with this trip I totally forgot to share with you the fabulous dinner that I got to taste at Voracious’ house the night before I flew out last week! She had attempted to invite me over plenty of times before but with my odd work schedule obviously it made it difficult until the night before my departure for a month. Hi hi bloggies I think I have worked through the jet lag and am back on ‘normal time’ (let’s hope so anyway). Today I woke up ready to kick my VitaMix into shape and make a decent GREEN smoothie to get me on way for my first Body Pump class in about 3 months. But I encountered some minor problems. The VitaMix was purchased in the US and the voltage is 120V and I am in a country that requires 220V, so I brought along my own transformer.
