My 5 min post on the fly!

Hiya bloggies!!! How was everyone’s thanksgiving? Being an Aussie we don’t even really know what Thanksgiving is but living in this part of the world with plenty of expat friends from the USA, this year I was more than aware of the holiday, not to mention all my US based blogs that I love to indulge in reminding me. Even if I don’t know what it means, I reckon any holiday where you give thanks and spend it with loved ones has gotta rock, yeah?

So I’ve not forgotten ya but my pals are here for their holidays and it’s been difficult to steal some laptop time as it’s just been way too much fun. I’ve been sightseeing like crazy, learning some new salsa moves, even changed my hair colour (only slightly!) and tonight we’ve got a table booked at Buddha Bar which probably sounds more impressive than it is but when in Rome (so to speak) then why not? Speaking of which I cannot wait to share with you where in the world I am! Next week I’ll be able to indulge ya! But here is a hint! This is where I was at today!

So here are some of my eats over the last couple of days:

Spitting out Clementine/Mandarin seeds!

Strawberry Mojito

Not wanting to sound boring but when I’m travelling and have little access to
my foods of choice, I do tend to play it quite safe and will tend to repeat my meals especially if I know I’ll be able to mix it up when I get back home anyway.

Tabouleh Salad

Well I’ve managed to type this up on my iPhone whilst driving back home from another great day of checking out the sights, so I’ll love ya and leave ya as it’s time to hit the hotel gym then shower and get ready to hit the town for one of the biggest nights of the week.
