Bahrain Raw Goodies
As promised I was going to share with you the goodies I found at Geant Hypermarket at Bahrain Mall the other day:
ARTISANA!!! I had never tried this brand before and had only been aware of it recently, mainly through Chocolate Covered Katie’s post here
Now, I have tried Almond Butter before but this butter is RAW!!!!
I still don’t even know what I am going to do with this Chocolate Coconut Butter but I am sure I can work it out!

I also found these nakd bars, which are reminiscent of the Lara bars I discovered in New Zealand here with the same flavours.
I’ve already tried the Ginger Bread and the Cashew Cookie and they’re quite good. I like having snacks like this on hand for when you are on the run or short on time.
I didn’t get to taste test this one but I was told it was delicious and I cannot quite remember what was in it however I remember it was all good ingredients.
HEMP SEEDS! I had no idea we could be get these in this part of the world and finally I can get EVERYONE to start making Kristen’s Raw’s Cheezy Hemp Nacho Sauce.
These were organic but WAYYY too salty. Think I might try sticking to my own Homemade Raw Versions – I’ll let you know tomorrow how they turn out. They are still in my dehydrator right now
ECO FRIENDLY Cleaning products!!
For those of you that are unaware, I have also found my first ever Health Food Store in Bahrain – Bio Natural Nutrition in the Bahrain Mall also. They have a selection of supplements, different oils, gluten free products, nut butters, vegan protein powders and even yoga DVD’s.
When oh when will Saudi Arabia start selling all or at least some of these products??? Hopefully soon. Or maybe they already are, but I just have no idea where to find them? Any ideas local peeps?

Hey Kris!!! If you are talking about being a flight attendant, I kinda just fell into it after 5 years of corporate work, then my friends were working for a start up airline in Australia and they were having an amazing time so I thought why not. 8 years later and 3 different companies) and I am still doing it. It is a great job to begin with but being away all the time from friends and loved ones can be tough. I am lucky with my current job that I don’t go away as much as i used to and I can have some semblance of a normal life!

Those Naked Bars look yummers! I have a jar of the Artisana cacao bliss in my cupboard… it’s really delish spread inside medjool dates!
The bars are delicious actually and not as big as the Lara bars.
WOW! I knew Geant had some goodies but I had no idea they had all those RAW goodies! I’m especially intrigued by those hemp seeds, I NEED those! And Almond butter is always a thing of beauty.
