Welcome to My New Home Here

Hey hey everyone!

Welcome to my new home! The website address is still the same with a few similarities, but due to reader suggestions, I have decided to make my bloggy a little more reader friendly with easier navigation. I’ve added a few links here and there with most still needing some content to be input, but bare with me whilst we iron out a few of the kinks and get it look uber cool. Any suggestions are more than welcome

Sorry I’ve been bad at updating, apart from hanging with my pals that are in town and getting this new little baby up and sorted, I really don’t have that much to update on with regards to my EATS.

I have been eating out quite a bit with dinners with friends so just been sticking to typical local fare like tabbouleh, fattouch, hummous etc which to be honest I am getting quite tired with!

Thanks goodness I am heading back home tomorrow! Which was exciting at first, then I found out I have another (albeit much shorter) trip waiting for me 2 days after my return.

So all those dreams I have of making some of the below will have to wait:

• Almond Bread Sandwich with Cashew Aioli (my own spin on a raw sandwich I had when I was staying in Christchurch in October)
• Cinnamon Raisin Flax Crackers
• Pumpkin Pie
• Chia Pudding
• Raw Quiche
• Raw Lasagne
• My own attempt at Lara Bars

And the list goes on. But for the most part, I really really really am just craving a good ole Green Juice. Think I am a bit over the Hotel Room Smoothies for a while and there is only so many times you can order the inhouse garden salad from room service.

Anyway I shouldn’t complain, I’ve seen some spectacular sights and had a wonderful time, even though this is a work trip, so hopefully I will get back into the swing of things soon.

I saw 2012 on Sunday night which was meant to be New Moon but the cinemas the driver took us to were not showing New Moon. I mean how could they not???? Anyway 2012 was actually quite good, despite it being a typically Hollywood film reminiscent of Independence Day it did make you stop and think, what if!? Anyway I’ve got fingers crossed I get to see New Moon sometime this week I cannot wait.

One thing I will be happy to leave behind is the smoking laws here. EVERYONE SMOKES ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE. As I am typing this I can smell a cigar wafting through my door. Cough Cough.

Before I love ya and leave ya’s for my last Body Pump class before I head out of here tomorrow, I totally forgot to give a shout out to Purely Delicious Magazine which I subscribed to a few months ago. A quarterly magazine for those of you that have been dying for a Raw orientated publication, this magazine rocks. I have just been enjoying the last of my beach front balcony devouring the last edition. Some great recipes and interviews for those new on the scene or quite seasonal raw foodists.
