It’s catch up time
Last time I left you I was bragging about all these goodies I was getting to sample from Pure Market Express:
Here is their Cookie Dough and Strawberry Ice Creams. Pretty smooth (much smoother than any raw ice cream I have managed to make, maybe it is because I am lacking an ice-cream maker, however I don’t believe that is necessary to make delicious raw vegan icecream).
And here’s some tourist shots from this week…
Not sure who’s house this is….
Vietnam Veteran’s War Memorial

Washington Monument
Abraham Lincoln Memorial

National World World II Memorial. The fact I took a picture of Oklahoma, I am HOPING it means something about my future (105degrees I hope???)
The view from my hotel room in where??? I’ll let you guys guess. This was on my way home so you can imagine this is where the Jetlag started to kick in. This was all I saw of this destination (oh and the inside of my eyelids)
Some of the views from my plane window heading back home to the Middle East.
In other exciting news, I’ll be having my 2nd giveaway this week, so stay tuned for those details coming up and also congrats to Jess @ Dairy Free Betty on her sparkling news! :)
Catch up with you all laters!

Awesome pics SS! All that SNOW!!
I was thinking the same thing! Brrrr!
DC is so beautiful! I was fortunate enough to visit my friends in DC last year while I was in the states. Love that city so much.
Awwwh… thank you Robyn!!
Wanna go to Mexico
haha
Fabulous pictures!! Lucky lady getting to travel all over the world!
Did you ever find your vitamix?! haha
Ooh I’d love too! Great excuse for a holiday and a bloggy meet up hey
Congrats honey
Haha I asked you if you went to PA after bootcamp, obviously I had not read this, I was just taking a stab in dark as I saw a War Memorial sign in one of the other pics….thought DC was too obvious – right Inspector Clouseau me!
I will look out for it on next trip home. Thanks Robyn for your great blog!
Anyway enough rambling…Ice-cream, now you are talking…I don’t have a sweet tooth, but I could live on ice-cream and I mean that quite literally, Fraser will vouch for it. Normally it’s of the Ben and Jerry’s varieties but I will def give it a go. Is it tasty, does it taste like ‘Normal’ Ice-cream…truthfully
Well this ice-cream tasted closer to sorbet, but it was yum, as it was made out out of coconut meat & butter and cashews among other things so it has a slightly nutty taste. Would do the trick!
That ice cream looks great! Beautiful pics, I have not been to DC in years.
I did miss you in D.C.!! Bummer!! However, I would have missed you regardless – maybe our planes were crossing somewhere over Europe?!
At least I’m glad you were able to see a few sights!
DC looks great! love the pics and glad you had a good time there
the ice cream sounds great..especially the cookie dough one!
Ooh it was nice, but I was sooo full from all the other goodies
Love the picts of your travels. I have yet to visit D.C. too so that was nice to see. The food looks super yummy too! I found your Blog via Nikki’s (yummy raw kitchen) comments.
Welcome Melissa! Yeah it was my first time to DC as well. Glad you liked the piccies.
Brrr! DC looks like a lot of fun, but cold! I’m having a hard time dealing with the 55F we’ve got going on here in Saudi right now. I’m not sure how I ever survived any place else!
The food looks fantastic, that ice cream looks so smooth and luscious.
And Robyn! I cannot believe you took a picture of a World War II memorial and thought about cooking school!
