More Food from Pure Market Express
Helloooo…yawn….I am sooo tired. I don’t mind these trips when I stay in one place, but when I bounce around the globe like this, it gets tough on my body.
Speaking of trips, the other night I had the privledge of participating in The Crew’s Lounge’s recent podcast, speaking about
- Overhead bins and carry on luggage
- Turbulence
- And questions from the cabin (listener’s).
It was so much fun and was great to actually speak to Sara from TheFlyingPinto.com and Bobby from UpUpAndAGay.com who hosted and chat with my Twitter bud Patti.
So before my flight on Thursday (yeah I am rewinding quite a bit because I think I’ve lost a couple of days in transit!) I woke up to my Banana Cream Pie from Pure Market Express. As Kristen said here, mine arrived all mushed up so it was more like a pudding but was still delicious. I am not much of a sweet tooth however, so I couldn’t finish it all. Still tasted good but was a little weird for me to have such a decadently rich dish for breakfast. I guess the main reason I did was because on the website, Pure Market Express have Banana Cream Pie down as a breakfast choice.
About half an hour later I was still feeling peckish so had to try the hot favourites.

Jalapeno Poppers with Bacon. Photo taken from here as I ate them before photographing!Uh-huh, the bacon was scarily like real bacon and these were pretty good. I even fed them to the crew and didn’t tell them they were raw (or vegan!) and they were polished off in a hurry. I try not to shove my ‘rawness’ down their throats as like most people, as soon as you tell them it is something different, they put up a wall and are adverse to trying it. Softly softly is my approach.
Next up, on board, Bella Trio. Ooh this were good, but once again they didn’t travel too well. Very garlicky but that’s ok by me. As long as I am sleeping alone or my boy eats it too (which he usually does!)
Here’s a salad I whipped up onboard.
And I also had a pick at the Garlic Alfredo Pasta with Zuchinni Pasta. The sauce came separate and I was amazed that the noodles were not too soggy at all.
Got loads more to share, but that’s a start, I’m not home and unpacking, and have to go pick up the Lucy Dog from the kennel, so I’ll be back later with more!

Wow, the poppers look so good! I’m going to have to play around in the kitchen and try to make something similar.
Mmmm, agreed on the poppers – something I bet hubby would really like too!
That is what they say on the website too Christine. Popular with the guys on game day with a nice cold beer hehe.
Hey girl. Everything looks sooo yummy!! Hope you are good… I’ve been MIA, so I’m not in the loop… hehe!!:)
And you’ve got good reason to be MIA! Congrats again darling x
Oh,I would give anything for a company (and food) like that to be available in Australia! (Or for me to have a stable address while travelling here in the US so that I could make use of the deliciousness!) Ah well, will have to live vicariously through you instead
Everything always looks and sounds amazing from Pure Market, I need to try something soon!
I’ve lost track of where you are bouncing around to/from as I am bouncing around myself!
I thought I read something about you visiting DC at some point, but now can’t find it! If it is true, send me an email. Maybe I will be in town and we can meet up. In the meantime, safe travels and glad you received some good food from Pure Market!
Ooh I have lost track myself hehe! I am now back home, but yes I was in DC for a few days then Switzerland. Now back home
Ohhhhh! Everything looks so yummy! I was really digging the mushrooms with lots of garlic, My husband and I will eat anything with both of these in them! Looks like you always have yummy delish foods with you all the time. Wish I could say the same thing…LOL
Oh I don’t ALWAYS have yummy stuff but I find that being prepared is a sure fire way NOT to eat what I shouldn’t!
Glad you got to try their food.
Hola,
We had the Oat Milk demo at the DWG evening tonight…totally delicious!!, very cheap to make and can be used in sauces, hot choc drinks, cereal..anything! I can provide a copy of the recipe if you want to try it.
Mmmm – already-prepared raw food is such a treat! How was the garlic alfredo sauce?
I enjoyed having a look at the UpUpAndAGay.com blog!
