Taking a packed lunch

Hey everyone! Hope you are all settling into “YOUR YEAR” as everyone I keep speaking to is calling ‘Twenty Ten’

I’m now back in the sandpit and wowsers it is considerably cooler than what it was when I left it a couple of weeks back, but I don’t mind so much. It makes the running outdoors that much more enjoyable now that I am back home – but not for long as ANOTHER work trip is planned. So exciting! This one looks to be RAD!

Yesterday in Bahrain I picked up some fruit & veggies from Al Osra which is a supermarket that loads of the expats favour as it also has some recognisable goodies from home and they also, albeit small, have some organic produce of which I picked up some carrots, celery. tomatoes, baby spinach and lettuce leaves amongst other non organic items.

Last week, before I left Brisbane, I managed to sneak in some time at the gym my dad works at and convinced him to show me his new hobby in the car park here…how cool eh?

He and my mum are also entering themselves in for another week long bike ride through South East Queensland on their tandem bicycle and mum also told me she’d like to TRY kitesurfing. STILL putting me to shame.

For breakfast this morning I was excited to break out the Champion Juicer!!

And make some awesome healing juice!

This little baby has:

organic carrots, organic celery, cucumbers, zucchini, apple, a knob of ginger and green cabbage. It made 3 large glasses and I slurped it all down.

I had to go into work early this morning so I took a packed lunch and ate this yummo berries on the drive to the airport.

raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries. I am in love.

My packed lunch which I inhaled at midday: baby spinach, bean shoots, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, half an avo with apple cider vinegar, Himalayan salt, cracked pepper & italian herbs.

I’ll be back later with more but in the meanwhile: don’t forget about my Australiana giveaway here! I am loving hearing about what you would giveaway from your part of the world. To make my giveaway complete I reckon a jar of Vegemite would have done the trick, however I am not too sure how many of my readers would enjoy that as a prize hehe.

Hi Robyn – this is my first post on your blog. Those are the cutest babies! I just started a Raw diet about 7 weeks ago and so far I really like it. I am hoping it will help with some of my health issues. I love the video of your dad on the unicycle! How fun!

If I were to send you a package it would be full of apples, horses and dirt! Haha, I live in Apple Valley, CA which is located in the High Desert and there is not much up here but apples, horses and dirt. Hardly any organic stuff to be found (boo). Have a great week!
