Out to Dinner in the Kingdom

Happy Monday!! Did anyone get any surprises last night? I was given a pretty bunch of handpicked flowers…gush icon smile Out to Dinner in the Kingdom

Yesterday’s breakfast/lunch was a pudding made in my favourite Tribest Personal Blender. I don’t only use this baby when travelling!!

1/2 cup of oats, 1 whole banana, 1 T raw honey, 1/2 cup of water, 1/4 cup of dried organic coconut, 1/4 cup of goji berries, 1/8 cup of cacao nibs

And turned into this!

I loved the crunch of the cacao and it gave me plenty of energy icon smile Out to Dinner in the Kingdom

Right before Boxing class I nibbled on this:

Organic Almond Butter slathered on a granny smith.

And yesterday I told you that I was going out for dinner with some of my friends and despite our dinners all coming out at different times with even one of my friends not even getting his dinner until after everyone had finished theirs,it was still just nice to get everyone out and enjoying one anothers company on a night normally reserved for couples.

We went to Fushi restaurant at Rashid Mall which as the name suggests, is an asian fusion restaurant. Was a great choice for the one vegan and 7 omnivores dining there.

I had some of these to start

Obviously I hated them! LOVE LOVE LOVE edamame

Miso Soup

And Som Tum Salad with my obsession of a Citrus Twist (lemon juice, lime juice and MINT!)

The meals all came garnished with heaps of those crunchy noodles, which wasn’t that great, but the rest was pretty ok for a veggie heavy meal in a location that doens’t have ALOT of options.

Check out Fushi if you are a local and want a huge range of meals, just don’t expect terrific service if they are busy (was there once when it was quiet and the service was lovely).

What did you do last night? I heard lots of people through Twitter were making special dinners at home. Nice one!

I’ve gotta head out now and run my puppy before I have to head off to Boot camp. See you later icon smile Out to Dinner in the Kingdom

  2. Happy Late Valentines Day!! :)

We had an awesome day in the sunshine (it’s never sunny here this time of year) went for a run, I made some breaky, then off for a long walk by the ocean, then dinner and THEN a beach fire with friends!! :)

Perfect day… just as yours looked!! :)

I love any nut butter on fruit!!! Yummz
I made dinner for my family, some stromboli and italian salad, with an olive antipasi plate. Oh, and a white grape sangria. It was pretty good! I got a food processor and some flowers!!! My youngest daughter made me a beautiful set of hand made cards!! I felt loved!
