Video: How to Make Nut Milk

Good morning guys, hope your Sunday is a rockin one.

I’m back in Saudi now for a little while but am fighting off the beginnings of a cold – the flying has finally caught up with me. After a 16 hour journey from Texas to the land of the sand, I finally got to my own bed and have rarely left it to try and keep this cold away. Advice I have been given is to keep hydrated and not to eat, but will see how that goes. Plus I’ve been pumping in the vitamins (C, Echinacea, Zinc etc)

In lieu of a post today, I’d thought I’d share with you a basic video on how to make nut milk. Most raw foodies are all over this process, but this is for my non raw foodie friends who been asking me how/what is nut milk. Enjoy!

OOooh looks yum, I might have to try it out! I love rice milk but haven’t tried nut milk before!

  2. Great video! Love fresh almond milk and using the pulp for raw desserts! :-)

Thank you SO much for visiting my blog and leaving such a nice comment. I’m so glad I found yours! Yep, my dad worked for Aramco, which is why I ended up being born and living in, Saudi Arabia for a while. Where abouts are you there? I lived in Dhahran.

Your blog is so fascinating and you are beautiful! I dabbled in the raw stuff for a while but couldn’t maintain it. I think about going back to it at times but don’t wish to do so at the moment primarily because I’m pregnant. I think being raw and/or vegan is truly a great way to live though. Unfortunately for me at the moment my biggest craving is dairy! :)

I look forward to reading more!

Thank you so much for making this video!! I’ve always KNOWN how to make nut milk, but was still intimidated by the process but you truly make it look so easy. I feel like it’s probably cheaper for me to buy the jug of almond milk, but I’m sure the fresh stuff tastes far superior and is of course much healthier than the processed nut milk from the store. Thanks again! :)
