It’s the weekend! Well it is for me. I just got back from a shopping expedition to Bahrain (and dropping my boyfriend off to the airport, he’s gone home for 2 weeks to Australia and I wish I could have gone too!) Summer Solstice Sunset

Yesterday, in my part of the world it was Summer Solstice (the official first day of Summer when the sun is at it’s maximum elevation.) Although you have already read about how freakin hot it’s been here, I would have thought it began at least a month ago! Revellers watched the sun come up at Stonehenge in the UK, but I was able to witness the sunset in Bahrain and help understand a theory that a Saudi archaeologist is promoting.
