Who wouldn’t love seaside living? Even in the dead of winter. Well ok, a Brisbane winter is pretty mild, but it does beat sticking out the Saudi Summer for a few weeks right?
The other evening I joined my parents on a sunset walk to walk the Boston Terrier my sister left behind when she took off to live in Italy.
And I’m glad I did.
If you look REALLY close you can see 1 or 2 dolphin fins in the water. I didn’t have my zoom lens on and it was hard to catch them every time they popped out of the water, but it certainly made my night especially being so close to shore.
Australia has some of the best beaches in the world, golden sands and aqua blue waters, and this beach is not even up there with some of the best, but still it’s 5 minutes walk from my parents house.
One of the most common sights here in Brisbane. The white ibis.
Then just like childhood, dad treated me to one of these on the way home

AMAZING!!! so beautiful! wish i was there…
love popsicles…reminds me of something i eat when i go to italy!!! =)

I fell in love Australia! I miss it everyday and cannot wait to return. I’ve been lucky to have been able to travel there 3 times in the 3 years though
I would move there in a second if I could

Hey Amanda, maybe we should do a swap. I’ve been to your home twice (within 6 months of each trip) as I fell in love with it. Maybe Oz and Hawaii are almost the same?
Beautiful photos!!! What a wonderful day!
Thanks Christine! It is so nice to be home!
That bird looks HUGE! Scary! Lol!
