Missing in Action

Hey everyone, I am back in the Magical Kingdom and have been since Monday!

Sorry for no updates of late but I’ve been readjusting to the timezones, heat/humidity (oh my gosh it is crazy!!!!! 109°F/43°C with around 50% humidity) and reacquainting myself with loved ones.

I am not sure if it’s the heat or the jet lag which has me struggling to get much done, but hopefully this week I will be back on track, including my first work flight back tomorrow. Wish me luck!

I hope to be bringing you a new regular segment coming really soon (which will help me and possibly you with weekly meal planning), so stay tuned for it this week!

In the mean time, one of my facebook page readers has drawn my attention to this article regarding Pine Mouth. I love my pine nuts so this kinda shocked me.

  1. I’ve noticed that pinenuts in the store have changed color. They aren’t bright anymore, but a little bit brown.
    Maybe that has something to do with it?

    Plus they are SO expensive, it’s ridiculous!!

    Oh my gosh, was putting pine nuts bought at a Farmer’s market on my pasta for a few days. Noticed the metallic taste and didnt know what it was.. since taste has in mouth has gone away .. wow.. Chinese pine nuts..thanks for the article
