Fridge Clean Out Soup
Morning all! What’s happening in your part of the world? Not sure if you’ve heard, but there’s quite a bit of unrest in my neighbouring country of Bahrain. I don’t know too much of what’s going on, other than what friends are posting on facebook and twitter, but needless to say my hearts and prayers go out to everyone that is being effected by the protesting and unrest. My mum is due to arrive from Australia next week so we might be having to change her flight to arrive direct to Saudi, and NOT Bahrain because at this stage, the causeway (border) has been closed for us to enter Bahrain Yesterday I started my day more »

Hey ho, happy Friday to you or Saturday if you are reading this back home in Oz My weekend’s up and I bet you are looking forward to yours. Have you been listening the Great Health Debate? They are all quite long winded however I’ve been playing them in the background whilst getting the house sorted as this week marks 37 weeks for us (which I don’t understand why, but this makes me full term, even though 40 weeks is the due time????) so I guess any moment now…. This weekend we headed back to Bahrain for some catchups with friends and plenty of shopping! Whilst there with some friends of ours, I took the time to show them some of my favourite places to pick up some of the more unusual ingredients. Carrefour in City Centre Mall for things like Cacao, Goji Berries & Agave. Bio Natural Nutrition in Bahrain Mall Geant in Bahrain Mall for pretty much everything else that Carrefour doesn’t have. I was a bit disappointed to find that although they still stock Artisana Nut Butters they didn’t appear to have my all time favourite Coconut Buter This week is going to be really busy for me with loads happening, more »
