<p>Yep, life in the tropics. Beautiful all morning, stormy in the afternoon.</p>
<p>I always know when it&#8217;s going to storm here as Cassie, the weather dog starts snorting and panting and becomes really clingy even when the skies look completely blue and you wouldn&#8217;t even think there is a storm on the horizon.</p>

<p>So today the skies look gorgeous, but who knows what&#8217;s in store for tonight!</p>
<p>Today I started my day off with a Chia, <a href="http://www.rawandpeace.com.au/1/post/2010/10/soz-for-lack-of-recipes-heres-one-for-yummy-chia-porridge.html">apple and cinnamon porridge, recipe care of the lovely lady Ames of Raw &amp; Peace</a> at Northey Street Organic Farm Markets.</p>

<p>1 apple, grated<br />
1/4 C chia<br />
1/4 C pepitas and sunflower seeds<br />
1/2 &#8211; 1 T cinnamon<br />
A knob of ginger, as much or as little as you like, grated finely<br />
1 T hemp seeds (optional)<br />
1 &#8211; 1 1/2 C water or your favourite nut milk</p>

<p><a href="http://girlonraw.com/recipes/smoothies-2/strawberry-seduction/">Strawberry Seduction</a> with extra add ins: 1 T hemp powder &amp; 1 t spirulina powder. I would have put a handful of spinach in but had none left.</p>

Ok Ok, it is the boy&#8217;s, I bought it for his birthday but it hasn&#8217;t yet been to his house!)</p>
<p></span><span style="line-height: 115%;">I also had prepared a variation on <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Kristen-Suzannes-EASY-Vegan-Entrees/dp/0981755631/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1245578245&amp;sr=8-2"><span style="color:blue;">Kristen&#8217;s Raw recipe for marinara sauce</span></a> with zucchini angel hair pasta which was so popular no one left me any leftovers for lunch the next</span><span style="">day&#8230;.that&#8217;s a good sign!! I topped it off with some marinated raw mushrooms. Delish.</p>
<p>And the final dish that has been my favourite these past couple of weeks was my Jicama Rice and &#8216;Save the Tuna Pate&#8217; Sushi as featured on <a href="http://www.fitnessista.com/2009/06/fake-tuna-real-tuna.html"><span style="color:blue;">Fitness Sista&#8217;s site here</span></a>. Yumbo! As I didn&#8217;t have time to make these on the day, I was able to show off photos of my recent attempts.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
