If you’ve been following me on facebook lately, you’ll see I’ve apparently been on a bit of a dessert kick lately. Well it appears that way. Before pregnancy, I never had a sweet tooth, preferring crunchy, salty savoury foods, however once I fell pregnant, and after Baby M was born, the ice cream monster kicked in. And now, often I’ll find myself looking for something sweet to conclude my evening meal with. Before then, dinner at restaurants rarely ever ended with a dessert, opting to enjoy shared appetisers before the meal instead. So are raw desserts actually healthy for you? Recipe | Raw Vegan Cinnamon Donut Holes

Sorry to have deserted ya, but I’ve been working on my buckwheat and kim chee posts plus tonight is impromptu date night. Taking the hubs to see Water for Elephants again tonight, as I loved it so much and reckon he’ll love it to. By before I leave ya, here’s a tasty recipe I came up with the other night when I was hankering for one of those greasy fried cinnamon donuts. Here’s what I came up with: Raw Vegan Cinnamon Donut Holes 1 cup brazil nuts 2 T cinnamon powder 1/4 t nutmeg powder 1/4 cup maple syrup (not raw) 1/2 T coconut oil pinch of salt Process all ingredients in food processor fitted more »

Holy moly, check out the temperature we got going on in this part of the world today! So there was only one thing to do today and that was take my little cookie monster to the pool to cool off.
