Yesterday I went out to my favourite place to be on a Sunday morning, especially when you are still on your home timezone and are arising at stupid o’clock in the morning. Northey Street City Farm Organic Markets. Phew! What a mouthful! I didn’t even let the rain keep me away…I actually almost danced in the puddles. It’s such a novelty coming from the desert you know. I met up with my pal Cody and checked out the stalls in the on/off rain (hence the glam hair!!) Has anyone ever had the chance to meet their hero? Someone who inspires, encourages and maybe even supports their cause possibly without them even knowing? Well this past weekend I finally got to meet mine! And her wonderful family! For the past couple of years Kristen (of Kristensraw.blogspot.com & Green Mommy Blog) has been my biggest support with my transition to a raw diet firstly through her sassy and delicious recipe books, then secondly through her online friendship. We got to know each other personally through regular emails and facebook chatter (I’m even pals with her very funny and popular mother) then I kept threatening to come and visit her in Arizona.
