Gourmet, Superfood or Simple? | What Kind of Raw Are You?
Yesterday I posted this Tim Van Orden video on my facebook page and it got me thinking about when I was at raw culinary school and how amazing the foods we were making (and eating). Happy Saturday everyone! I still don’t think I’ll ever get used to our first day of the working week being a Saturday but today it was made a little sweet. I’ve written before about how difficult it is for us to sometimes get access to basic produce and ingredients, and how I miss kale and usually get my fix when I go home to Australia, or ask people to bring it back in their suitcase, but I guess what else can you expect in the desert? Was a sellout! It was the first of it’s kind on our compound and hopefully with more to come. I’ve been in recovery mode ever since because leading up to the market, I was busy prepping ice cream, macaroons and raw veggie pasta with marinara and marinated mushrooms. It was a hit! And I loved meeting more people on camp that are eager for way more classes. I just need to get my assistant more trained up. I’m outta here.
