Hiya everyone sorry for my absence these last couple of days, lots to report as per usual The gym was closed both Saturday and Sunday (due to moving) so I stuck to a light jog on Saturday and had a rest day on Sunday Before I headed off for some shopping I decided to make an almond milkshake. This is it going in: And coming out: Almond milk, 2 bananas, 4 dates and a tablespoon of carob powder. As I had left the almond milk in the fridge for two days it has started to develop a bit of a yoghurt so needless to say I am keen to look into making raw yoghurt next more »

I woke up starving this morning for the first time in forever!!! Gotta be a good thing right? Must be my furnace called my metabolism starting to fire up for some serious fat loss Thank goodness I had some green apple sauce left over from yesterday in my fridge so I didn’t even need to worry about firing up the VitaMix to get some love into my body. Happy World Vegetarian Day peeps! Today’s smoothie was a cracker! I think the difference in this one compared to those before it was I had put an ingredient in it I usually only reserve for almond milk creations and boy what a difference. As I am not usually a sweet tooth (my problem foods are usually salty, crunchy and carby!) I really didn’t think it would make that much of a difference. So wanna know the secret ingredient? DATES.
