Meeting my Mentor (and friend!)
Has anyone ever had the chance to meet their hero? Someone who inspires, encourages and maybe even supports their cause possibly without them even knowing? Well this past weekend I finally got to meet mine! And her wonderful family! For the past couple of years Kristen (of Kristensraw.blogspot.com & Green Mommy Blog) has been my biggest support with my transition to a raw diet firstly through her sassy and delicious recipe books, then secondly through her online friendship. Happy Monday everyone, hope you had a fabbo weekend! I spent most of mine in bed still getting over this crazy jet lag business. It usually hits me worse coming back from the States, so I’ve been pretty immobile and not eating too much either as I’ve been dealing with a sore throat and stuffy nose. Good news is, it’s almost gone! Yay for my uber cool diet eh. Hey hey, for those of you just joining me, I am still in Houston but not for much longer Yesterday saw me running around like crazy trying to get all my last minute pick ups before I head back to the Magic Kingdom and I cannot help feeling I may have overdone it??
