I am finally pleased to announce my NEW and IMPROVED Raw Food Classes for 2012 but what’s more exciting, is if you are new to RAW or have no idea what it is, before committing to a class, why not come to our Launch Tasting, where you can sample some of what will be instructed in a casual, fun evening?

Raw Food Class Launch Tasting – Wed 8th Feb, 5-630pm

Come wrap your taste buds around some raw food appetizers and smoothies/juices to introduce raw foods and how they can be so much more than salads, carrot sticks and fresh fruit (um boring!)

Cost – 100 SAR which includes offerings/samples from every class!

Yep these are ALL raw and do not contain any animal ingredients!!!!

The following 3 hour classes will get you well on your way to improving your diet, health and overall vitality by formally trained Raw Chef, Robyn Law, using ingredients that can be found here in either Saudi Arabia or Bahrain.

Evening Classes

RAW BASICS Workshop – Sun 12th Feb 5-8pm – 300SAR

Some of what you will learn:

  • about Green Smoothies
  • introduction to Raw Food Kitchen Equipment – what is essential and what is for ‘fun’
  • learn about alternative sweeteners
  • how to make nut milk to substitute soy or dairy
  • how to make 1 dessert

 

TASTES OF ASIA Workshop – Sun 19th Feb 5-8pm – 300SAR

Some of what you will learn:

  • Vietnamese rolls with satay dipping sauce
  • how to roll perfect sushi with vegetable ‘rice’
  • pad thai
  • how to make som tum salad
  • how to make 1 Asian style dessert

 

TASTES OF ITALY Workshop – Sun 26th Feb 5-8pm – 300SAR

Some of what you will learn:

  • how to make a warming soup
  • how to make rawvioli
  • how to make zucchini fettucine
  • how to make lasagna
  • how to make 1 Italian style dessert

 

DECADENT DESSERTS Workshop  - Sun 4th Mar 5-8pm300SAR

  • how to make a chia pudding
  • how to make a dairy free cheesecake
  • how to make raw vegan (dairy free) ice cream
  • how to make a wheat free cake

 

Weekend Classes

BRILLIANT BREAKFASTS inc Smoothies & Juices – Thurs 16th Feb 9am-12pm – 300SAR

Some of what you will learn:

  • how to make a quick nutrient dense and delicious smoothie that has your daily intake of fruits & vegetables and will keep you going until lunch or even later (perfect for busy, active people)
  • how to make energy giving fresh juices
  • how to make quick and simple granola
  • how to make milk with seeds & nuts
  • how to use leftover pulp

 

CHOCOLATE MAKING Masterclass - Thurs 16th Feb – 2pm-5pm BASICS Workshop – 300SAR

Some of what you will learn:

  • introduction to ingredients and equipment
  • how to temper chocolate
  • how to make raw truffles

 

DEHYDRATOR FUN (2 part weekend class) Thurs 23rd Feb 9-12pm &  Fri 24th Feb 10-1pm – 600SAR for both days

Some of what you will learn:

  • how to make nut cheese
  • how to make coconut yoghurt
  • how to make crackers
  • how to make fruit leather
  • how to make macaroons
  • how to make gluten free wraps day

All students will receive recipe handouts with full recipe instructions as well as shopping and supplier lists on where to buy ingredients, both locally and online.

Students will eat everything we make, so they will need to bring their appetite and/or containers to take what we don’t eat home.

These are fun filled, informal, interactive workshops.

Seats are limited so to reserve your place, contact events and specify which date and class you wish to attend.

Refund Policy: full refund if cancelled more than 3 days notice. 2 days notice half refund. No refund if day before or missed class.
