Fruit Leather/Rollups
Fruit Leather
3 cups of strawberries
3 cups of blueberries
1 cup of blackberries (only because the rest of them started to go mouldy!!)
Agave or fresh dates if it requires sweetening.
Blend until smooth in blender (derrr) . If you are like me and still using the ghetto blender, you may need a small amount of water and a plunger to get it moving and be gentle with your blender, if it starts to overheat, turn it off and scrape down the sides. I think I am getting The VITAMIX back this week
Spread on your dehydrator Excalibur ParaFlexx dehydrator sheets with an offset spatula. The thicker the batter the longer it will take to dry out, but too thin and it will become brittle.
I got about 4 trays out of the mixture and put the dehydrator on 140′ for 1 hour then 110 for another 7 hours.
When I woke up this morning it was still too think in the middle so I put it on for another 2 hours. This is the end result – just ignore the little taste test on the 2nd shelf

So you dehydrate at 140 degrees for an hour? Does that go against being “raw”? When I make my almond butter my food processor heats the mixture up to 140 degrees, does this mean it is not “raw” anymore?
Hi Barbara, no it still is raw, because even though the temperature on your dehydrator says 140′ it takes over an hour on average for your rollup batter to get close to that due to the amount of moisture in there. That’s why you can keep it at 140 for one hour but then turn to down. Hope this helps
